New York Institute of Technology (NYIT), a leader in 21st-century global education, has campuses in Manhattan and Long Island, N.Y., as well as in the Middle East, China, and Canada. NYIT has developed the double-degree program in cooperation with some of the best universities in China. The students, upon the successful completion of the program, shall earn two graduate degrees, one from NYIT and the other from its Chinese partners, either Tongji University or Xiamen University, by living, studying, networking in New York as well as another city in China.
Tongji University a key university of China, a member of “Project 985”and “Project 211”, with the name recognition in both China and around the world. The participants of the NYIT-Tongji program shall receive the Master in Business Administration (M.B.A.) or Master of Science (M.S.) in human resources management and labor relations from NYIT and the Master of Enterprise Management from Tongji University. The student pursue education through this program shall learning by living, studying, networking, and obtaining the education in these two great cities.
Xiamen University, located in Xiamen, Fuzhou, is known for its grand campus with beautiful scenes. It was found by the well-known overseas Chinese businessman Chen Jiageng in 1921. It is the first college developed by the overseas Chines and the only “Project 985” and “Project 211” university located in the special economic zone. Xiamen University has 22 colleges, 10 research institutes and one graduate school, and is a leading comprehensive university in China with international fame. It has graduated 150,000 from the undergraduate and graduate programs and boast to have over 60 member of the China Academy of Science and China Academy of Social Science in its faculty.
The double degree program is offered in the main campus of Xiamen University, through the cooperation between NYIT School of Management and the Shenzhen Research Institute at Xiamen University. With the program design, the students complete the program by studying one year in China and one year at NYIT’s campus in New York, and to earn NYIT’s Master of Business Administration (MBA) and a graduate degree from Xiamen University upon the completion of the program.
