Jonathan Goldman Presents Paper

Jonathan Goldman, Ph.D., assistant professor, English Department, Manhattan, presented a paper at the 2014 meeting of the American Comparative Literature Association on March 22.  The presentation, "Literary Boogaloo," examined Puerto Rican literature and the genre of Latin boogaloo emanating from East Harlem in the 1960s.

Terese Coe Published at The Poetry Foundation

Terese Coe, adjunct professor of English, recently published her translation from the French of Pierre de Ronsard's "Epitaph for François Rabelais" online at The Poetry Foundation (home of Poetry Magazine).  It first appeared in the hardcopy of *Poetry* in 2005.

Phi Eta Sigma Selects Lisa Runco

Lisa Runco, Ph.D., assistant professor of Life Sciences, became an honorary member of The NYIT Chapter of Phi Eta Sigma, a prestigious National Honor Society, on March 12, 2014.  She was chosen, by its members, to be an honorary member because of the dedication, concern, and care that she demonstrates to students in helping them achieve academic excellence.
