NYIT's faculty and staff seeks ways to expand opportunities for collaborative enterprise, where disciplines work together to build a foundation for education, idea incubation, and problem solving. In its strategic plan, NYIT acknowledged the importance of these efforts and incorporated them into one of its six strategic goals: that by 2030, NYIT would become:

  • The Center for Metropolitan Sustainability is focused on creating a pathway to our urban future. Combining aspects of architecture, engineering, and management, we look to educate students and the general population about the right choices for sustainability.
