At NYIT-Abu Dhabi, students have a number of extra- and co-curricular activities in which they can participate. Students are also encouraged to approach the Director of Student Affairs if they would like to start a club.

The Student Life Organization schedules intercollegiate sports activities with nearby colleges that include: football, basketball, table-tennis, bowling, and e-club activities.
