Clinical Nutrition

Clinical nutrition is concerned with therapeutic uses for nutrition, usually in medical settings as part of a complete health care program. Clinical nutritionists create effective nutrition plans that work toward health outcomes such as disease prevention and treatment, strengthening of the immune system, and nourishment of those unable to care for themselves. The clinical nutrition program at New York Institute of Technology (NYIT) offers students an opportunity to earn a master's degree in clinical nutrition and is conducted completely online.

Although  NYIT does not offer an undergraduate degree in nutrition, we offer several courses in nutrition as part of our bachelor level  Health Sciences offerings. Course descriptions can be found here.
