Why did you decide to join NYIT?
I was excited about the new challenges that an academic environment would provide, along with the great educational, health, and retirement benefits-not to mention the chance to move away from freezing cold upstate New York.

What do you do at NYIT?
I lead applications technology projects and financial modules for human resources, payroll, and benefits. In addition, I help Oracle users with their day-to-day issues and assist in developing the NYIT applications technology team.

Why do you like working here?
I love the teamwork I've found, in addition to supportive management and the ability to be independent in what I do.

What has been your favorite experience at NYIT so far?
I think I have been able to give the payroll team a high comfort level and make them believe that I can really help them with their Oracle issues. I was also excited about solving some year-end issues that arose as we were releasing the first set of tax data.

What is your favorite perk/benefit about working at NYIT?
The holidays and vacation time, for sure. Not to mention the great benefits, including educational benefits for family members.
