Organized by the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, the College Fed Challenge Competition offers a team of students, under the guidance and supervision of a faculty advisor, an experiential learning opportunity to follow a series of economic indicators and deliver a presentation to a panel of Wall Street economists at the Federal Reserve Bank of NY. The presentation focuses on current economic conditions, future economic trends and forecasts, and recommendations regarding changes in monetary policy and interest rates.

Experiential Based Learning: Practicum in Economics

Experiential learning course focusing on group dynamics. Under the supervision of a faculty advisor, students will work on a company-specific project in the capacity of a small-group consulting team, collecting and analyzing data and information, considering alternative feasible solutions, and delivering team recommendations.
