Digital sculpture includes many sculptural approaches aided by the use of various digital technologies for the design, presentation, broadcast, execution and/or manufacture of three dimensional and time based art. The history as well as examples of digital sculpture will be presented through a series of lectures, Web articles, video, and professional studio visits. Students will gain experience with various digital sculpture processes through a series of related projects.
