Student R.S.V.P. and Ticket Reservations
The graduating student does not require a ticket. Because of limited seating, each graduate will receive a maximum of four tickets. Admission to the campus for guests is by ticket only. A ticket will grant the holder access to the main commencement and the school commencement. Additional tickets are not available.
- IMPORTANT: The student commencement ticket R.S.V.P. system is now closed.
If you have missed the deadline to register for commencement tickets or if you missed the ticket distribution days, please follow these instructions:
- On the day of the event, Sunday, May 18 at the Old Westbury campus, go to the Ticket Center upon arrival.
- The Ticket Center is located in the Student Activity Center at the Old Westbury campus.
- The Ticket Center is open 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
All graduating students are eligible to receive a maximum of four guest tickets.
You will not be turned away at Commencement and your tickets have not been lost.
Only four guests are permitted per student.

Filing For Graduation
All candidates for graduation must complete an online application via the “Application for Graduation” link on NYITConnect at the beginning of their final semesters. The deadlines are as follows:
- May 2008 graduation: Friday, April 4
- August 2008 graduation: Monday, July 7
