Transfer Tuesdays/Graduate Tuesdays

Transfer and graduate students can quickly and easily apply to NYIT and have transfer credits evaluated on-site, held concurrently at the Old Westbury and Manhattan campuses.

Graduate Enrollment Days

NYIT's Graduate Enrollment Days are designed to assist you in every step of the admission and registration process. Faculty and staff will be on campus and ready to help you:
  • Complete your admission process
  • Apply for financial aid
  • Meet your adviser and select classes
  • Register for the Fall semester and arrange a payment plan
All of our Graduate Enrollment Days are conveniently scheduled from 4 to 7 p.m. on the following dates:
  • Old Westbury Campus, Harry Schure Hall: Tuesday, Aug. 26
  • Manhattan Campus, 16 West 61st St.: Wednesday, Aug. 27

 

Graduate Academic Department Information Sessions: Fall 2008 Semester

The graduate academic departments will conduct "Graduate Information Sessions" on the following Tuesdays throughout the Fall semester: Oct. 7, Nov. 4, and Dec. 9, 2008. We are running many of these sessions concurrently in Manhattan and Old Westbury. The Graduate Admissions Office will be holding general information sessions on those dates from 5-6 p.m.

These information sessions will allow for prospective applicants to meet with department faculty and learn more about the program. A typical session may include a tour of our campus facilities, an overview of the professions, a detailed explanation of program requirements, and a question-answer session.

Fall Open House

Coming in the fall, NYIT hosts Open House events at both New York campuses where you can:

  • Check out NYIT's exciting academic programs
  • Get information on admissions and career planning
  • Talk with faculty, students, and alumni about the NYIT experience
  • Tour NYIT campuses and facilities
  • Learn about our generous scholarships and financial aid
  • Discuss transfer credit and prior learning experiences with evaluators

Students admitted to NYIT and their families are invited to check out NYIT's campuses, classrooms, and residential facilities. Please check back here for future dates in the Spring 2009.
