Non-Collegiate Course Evaluations and Workforce Training

The American Council on Education (ACE) and National College Credit Recommendation Service (CCRS) have evaluated many nontraditional learning experiences and recommend college credit for them. NYIT honors ACE and National CCRS recommendations by awarding applicable credit for electives and/or required courses.

Some popular organizations evaluated by ACE and National CCRS include:

  • New York City Police and Fire Departments
  • Joint Apprentice programs
  • Internal Revenue Service
  • Learning Tree International
  • Microsoft Corporation
  • Walt Disney Company
