Meet NYIT

We hold a number of admissions events throughout the year, including Fall Open House, Spring Preview Days, Student for a Day events, and transfer and graduate information sessions. We plan new events all year round, so be sure to check out the events list below.

		Information Sessions and Tours for High School Juniors NYIT has designed some special events specifically for high school students and their families to learn about the application process, NYIT's academic programs and majors, financial aid, and student life. These events include a Q&A session led by staff members and current students as well as a walking tour of campus. An R.S.V.P. is required to attend. 		B.S./D.O. Enrollment Days All students admitted to the combined Bachelor of Science in Life Sciences/Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (B.S./D.O.) program for the fall 2013 semester are required to attend an enrollment day to learn about the program from the department and to register for fall classes. B.S./D.O. students do not need to take placement exams. B.S./D.O. You must reserve your spot by emailing rsvp@nyit.edu with your name, NYIT Student ID, email address, telephone number, and prefered date and time. Please bring a valid photo ID with you. Monday, June 24, 2013, at 10 a.m. or 1 p.m. Monday, Aug. 5, 2013 at 10 a.m. or 1 p.m.
		Campus Tours We lead student tours during the week, and are happy to schedule tours at your convenience. We’d love to show you around campus. To schedule a tour of one of our New York campuses and residential facilities, please email admissions@nyit.edu or call 800.345.NYIT.
		Schedule a Group Tour NYIT offers special group tours and information sessions. If you are interested in scheduling a group tour, please fill out a Group Tour Request Form. The Office of Admissions will be in contact with you in regards to your request.  If you have any questions, please call 212.261.1549.
		Transfer Enrollment Days From May through June, transfer students are invited to come to campus for on-the-spot admissions, scholarship review, transfer credit evaluation, placement exam testing, and registration at our Old Westbury and Manhattan campuses. 		Energy Management and Environment Technology Graduate Info Session Find out how your NYIT degree will prepare you for high-level positions in private companies, non-profit organizations, or government agencies in the demanding and challenging fields of energy management and environmental technology. 		Graduate Enrollment Days The fall semester begins on Sept. 4, 2013. Join us for Graduate Enrollment Days, and we'll help you prepare for the first day of classes. You can complete the admissions process, apply for financial aid, meet with your adviser, register for classes, and arrange for a payment plan. Tuesday, Aug. 27 from 4 - 7 p.m. in Old Westbury Wednesday, Aug. 28 from 4 - 7 p.m. in Manhattan
		Graduate Tuesdays  Join us in the Office of Admissions in Old Westbury and Manhattan on the following Tuesdays from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. throughout the summer. We'll guide you through the admissions process from beginning to end and help you apply for free. You may be able to get an admissions decision on-the-spot, and we’ll review your application for a graduate scholarship. Your application As a graduate student, you may qualify for a scholarship that is up to $3,000 each year.
