Recent Accomplishments of Associate Dean Frank Mruk
Frank Mruk, associate dean, business and strategic planning, for the School of Architecture and Design, has recently made news, including:
The March 2014 issue of Entrepreneur Magazine quotes him in the article, "The un-office," about new workplace trends such as movable walls, outdoor spaces, and sometimes no office at all.
The Long Island Index, a project of the Rauch Foundation, interviewed him for the article, "Inside the New American Dream: Q&A with Architect Frank Mruk." Read more.
In addition, he served as a U.S. representative for the 2014 international interdesign, "Humanising a Metropolis," Feb. 5-19 in India. The workshop co-sponsored by Welingkar School and the International Council of Societies of Industrial Design convened the heads of Mumbai government organizations, executives from Microsoft and Cosco, and faculty and administrators from universities.
