Members of the NYIT community attended an Oct. 18 Archtober lecture featuring award-winning architect Preston Scott Cohen, chair and Gerald M. McCue Professor of Architecture at Harvard University Graduate School of Design. Cohen, who runs an architecture firm in Cambridge, Mass., has led the design of critically acclaimed projects such as the Tel Aviv Museum of Art. His recent work has included a glass canopy covering an 11,000-square-foot outdoor pedestrian arcade in Battery Park City, an addition to the Manhattan landscape that the New York Times likens to "something almost as inspired as the nave of a great Gothic cathedral."
