Communication Arts: Facilities & Resources

Become skilled in the same equipment that industry professionals use to create high-quality productions. Our TV studios, filmmaking labs, audio-processing centers, and 3-D motion capture lab give you practical, hands-on educational experience.

In our electronic journalism classes, you’ll:

  • produce TV shows in a studio with the latest HD gear
  • grab a camera and head out into the field to cover breaking news
  • learn how to package your work for cable and international television

Digital Filmmaking Labs

Shoot, cut, and screen your own films using our HD cameras, editing stations, and viewing room. Collaborate with classmates and professors as you get involved in story-boarding, post-production, and distribution.

Radio and Sound Processing Labs

Create, mix, and listen to your own work using digital stereo consoles, recording equipment, and audio software. Build professional expertise as you learn how these tools are applied in radio and sound production.
