Can I take classes as a nonmatriculated student?

Students may take a limited number of credit-bearing undergraduate and graduate courses without being matriculated in a degree, diploma, or certificate program. Graduate students may not take more than 9 credits, and undergraduates may not take more than 24 credits without matriculating.

In order to apply as a nonmatriculated student, you may contact the Office of Admissions and complete a Nonmatriculated Application, which must then be approved by Admissions and the department(s) in which you are registering for courses. For more information, contact:
