How do I find out the status of my international application?

Once your application has been submitted and NYIT has received all application materials such as: academic transcripts, scores from your TOEFL and entrance exams (i.e.: SAT, GRE, GMAT, if applicable), and affidavits of support, your file will be sent for review to the academic department to which you applied, and it takes approximately 4-6 weeks for a decision is made.

In order to check the status of your application, if you applied to an undergraduate program, please send an email to admissions@nyit.edu and be sure to include your full name, student ID, address, and the program of study to which you applied.  If you applied to a graduate program, please send an email to nyitgrad@nyit.edu and be sure to include your full name, student ID, address, and the program of study to which you applied.  For immediate assistance, please contact the admissions office at 516.686.2870.

If you have any questions about your SEVIS I-20 form, e-mail Angela Delcid, director of international admissions, at adelcid@nyit.edu.
