Do you have a campus shuttle bus?

The NYIT shuttle runs on the Old Westbury campus and stops at:

  • Anna Rubin Hall (300 building)
  • Kenneth W. Riland Hall/Academic Health Care Center (NYCOM)
  • Education Hall
  • NYIT de Seversky Mansion
  • Main entrances

The campus shuttle bus circulates around campus every 30 minutes. The bus runs on a continuous loop around the campus from 7:30 a.m. to midnight. It takes approximately 30 minutes to make a complete loop. The bus does not run between the hours of 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. (lunch break).

There is only one shuttle bus and driver. Because the bus runs continuously, it should not take longer than 15-20 minuets to reach any given stop. The bus does not go to the SAC building but stops along the main road, opposite the library.

If you are waiting for an extended period of time or require assistance, call 516.686.7789 or ext. 7789 from an on-campus phone. The dispatcher will check on the bus and advise the caller of its location.

For additional questions or problems, email Michael Burnett at mburnett@nyit.edu or call 516.686.1224.
