How do international students defer admission to another semester?

To defer a SEVIS I-20 form to the next semester, you must send an e-mail to Annemarie Fulfaro in the Office of International Admissions at afulfaro@nyit.edu and include:

1. Your full name
2. NYIT student ID
3. I-20 SEVIS ID number
4. You will also need to resubmit updated sponsorship documents, including a Financial Affidavit of Support and a bank statement.  We need original forms with updated dates of issuance from the bank.  Please mail your documents as soon as possible to:

Before we can issue a new I-20, you will need to be processed and reviewed once again by the admissions office. In the meantime, if you attend any schools in your home country, please make sure to send us any updated documents for our records. Should your address change, please send us your new address and phone number.
