International students are not eligible for need-based financial aid. NYIT does offer academic scholarships to international students that may cover partial tuition. International students are required to have sponsors who can demonstrate the student has financial support to study in the U.S. There is no separate application for scholarships. When you submit your application and supporting documents, the admissions committee will review your file for admission and for scholarship eligibility. If you are awarded a scholarship, you will receive an official award letter after you receive the acceptance package.
Incoming undergraduate freshmen: need to submit SAT exam scores and transcripts to be considered for academic scholarships or financial aid.
