Men's basketball holds off UDC 78-73 in overtime
Old Westbury, NY (Nov. 15, 2009) - The NYIT men's basketball team held off a late rally by the University of District of Columbia to defeat the Firebirds 78-73 in overtime in non-conference action this evening. NIGHT OUT ON THE BEARS

NYIT Athletics is proud to announce the return of Night Out On The Bears. The popular event, which offers parents from NYIT's surrounding communities the opportunity to drop their children off at NYIT's Sport Complex, and enjoy an evening out, is back.

Night Out On The Bears is part of NYIT Athletics Healthy Neigh-Bear-Hood campaign and features an evening stressing the importance of physical fitness, healthy eating and fun!
