Mehran Jamshidi is a professional and educator with 20+ years' experience in academia and professional development training and project environments.

Presently, Mehran is a department head (Department of Project Management) and faculty member at Vancouver Community College (VCC). He also teaches at the British Columbia Institute of Technology (BCIT) and University Canada West along with leading his project management consulting firm, EffiCert Academy. He is a past senior project manager at TELUS, working with the coaching and learning solutions team on several critical initiatives.

He also was president of the Project Management Institute (PMI), Canadian West Coast Chapter and a board member and vice president of education of the same organization from 2015 to 2022.

In addition to working with VCC, BCIT, EffiCert Academy, and PMI CWC, he teaches MIS to M.B.A. students at New York Tech's Vancouver campus. He also has been very active in the project management world by speaking at conferences as a project management public speaker.

Mehran is a Doctor of Education (Ed.D) candidate at the university of British Columbia in Vancouver.
