Francesca Romana Forlini is an architect, editor, and educator whose research is located at the intersection of feminism, cultural sociology, architecture and interior design history, and theory. She is a visiting assistant professor at New York Tech, teaching Global History and Theory of Architecture and Interior Design. Francesca has published and presented her research widely. She was the first chief editor of the magazine KoozArch, where she currently contributes. Moreover, she taught at Parsons The New School in New York, was head of the B.Arch. History and Theory of Architecture course at the University of Hertfordshire, worked as a researcher at Foster + Partners, and as a lecturer and researcher at Middlesex University, Harvard University, and the Royal College of Art (RCA). Francesca has co-authored The Mumbai Metropolitan Region and Palava City: A Brief Account and Evaluation (Harvard GSD Press, 2017), and is currently working on the book titled From Within: Uncovering Cultural Domesticity (DEditore, 2024). She is the director of the book series Stanze (LetteraVentidue), and was contributor and editor at Oblique, Critical Conservation Vol. 1, and the Giornale dell'Architettura.

Forlini is a Fulbrighter and an alumna of the RCA, where she received her doctorate in architectural history and theory. She holds a Master in Design Studies in Critical Conservation from Harvard Graduate School of Design (degree with Distinction), and completed a five-year degree in architecture at Università La Sapienza in Rome.
