Jasmine Hue, Ph.D., is experienced in both academic and government sectors. She is a university lecturer and sustainability specialist, experienced in circular economy, waste management (including biomass), water management, renewable energy, and sustainability policy. Hue obtained the Graduate Certificate in Higher Education (GCHE) from Monash University (Australia) and has a proven track record of teaching excellence, which were recognized with two teaching awards: Vice Chancellor Education Award 2018 and Pro-Vice Chancellor Award for Excellence in Education 2017 (Early Career Category). She has worked on multiple projects related to sustainability and the environment with international partners such as The Ocean Cleanup, Holland Circular Hotspot, WWF Plastic Initiatives, The Lost Food Project, and many others. Her teaching philosophy is to empower students by giving them control of their own learning and using innovative teaching methods in the classroom.
