Apply for an NYIT Fellowship and Travel the World

Are you a current NYIT student who wants to interact with the larger world but needs the funding to do so? Are you interested in new and creative academic and cultural experiences? If so, apply for an NYIT Presidential Global Fellowship by noon on Monday, Dec. 7. Fellowships are open to full-time students on all NYIT campuses. Grants may be used for projects that are sponsored by NYIT, self-guided, or completed in partnership with other institutions and organizations. Examples are:
- Research and innovative projects.
- Participating in conferences and symposiums.
- Brief study at another university or nonprofit organization.
Multiple awards of $500, $2,500, and $5,000 will be given in 2016. Projects must take place at least 200 miles (233 km) from your home or home campus, and at any time from January to August 2016. A final summary (500 words plus photos) is due upon completion of the project.
All applications will be reviewed and decided upon by the Presidential Global Fellowship Committee. Read guidelines and start your application (MyNYIT login required).
