Jump Start Advantage Program – Summer 2009
NYIT offers its first-year students an opportunity to get a head start on their college careers by taking part in the Jump Start Advantage Program. This five-week program runs from July 7 through Aug. 6, 2009, and includes the courses: College Success Seminar (NYIT 101) and either a developmental course in mathematics or Basic Speech.
The cost for five or six credits is only $1,990, a significant savings of more than $2,500 over the regular semester cost. By participating in Jump Start, you gain the advantage of completing five or six credits toward your program before the start of the fall semester.
AlcoholEduAlcoholEdu is an online alcohol education and prevention program that all NYIT first-year students are required to complete. When you complete both parts of the program, you will be entered into a raffle drawing for prizes, including the Apple iPod Touch.
