Where Do You Go to Resolve a Complaint?
As your partner during your NYIT journey, the Division of Student Affairs supports your steps toward meeting your career and academic goals. If you need to share a concern, or to present a complaint, we are here to help you. Please follow the steps below when reaching out to an NYIT department or office:
- Be professional and courteous when making your request.
- Provide your student ID number and name in your communication.
- Describe specific, pertinent issues related to your concern.
- Take down the name and title of the NYIT staff member you communicate with.
- Be prepared to offer contact information: phone number, e-mail address, best time to reach you, etc.
