Looking to have the experience of a lifetime and improve others' lives? You'll have the chance if selected for NYIT's 2014 Alternative Spring Break Program. Details include:
Spend March 14-23, 2014 volunteering in Ecuador to help build and expand organic orchard gardens. Project sites include Portoviejo, one of the country's oldest cities, and Puerto Lopez, a small fishing village on the Pacific coast.
There are openings for 10 NYIT students and two NYIT faculty/staff members. Knowledge of environmental science and agriculture, as well as Spanish language skills, are beneficial.
