On Campus Recruitment (OCR) represents an opportunity for NYIT students to apply and interview on campus for full time positions with major corporations. New York Life will be interviewing students for IT positions. To learn more about these jobs and to be considered for an interview, students must log on to the Career Net system for complete "how-to" instructions and job description. The deadline for applications to be filed is Thursday, Sept. 17.

John Meindl is the CEO of Sports Branded Media, which has pioneered new business models for sport marketing, production, and branded entertainment. Early in his career, he decided that he wanted to work for no one but himself, and took on the challenge of starting his own business. Today, his company deals with high school, collegiate, and professional sports, as well as charity fundraisers and major motion pictures. Attending students will learn of his experience of starting his own company, and gain knowledge in new and dynamic marketing and self-branding strategies that can be applied just about anywhere.
