B.F.A. in Advertising/Public Relations
The Advertising and public relations industries are projecting annual growth rates of 24 percent in the next few years. Employment of public relations specialists are also expected to rise 23 percent with advertising and public relations managers to grow 16 percent. According to The Bureau of Labor Statistics, the growth of both industries will be driven by the need for organizations to maintain their image in a high-information age and with the growth of social media.
Most industries require new hires in advertising and public relations to be proficient in social media management, research techniques and global advertising and public relations methods.
