Francine Glazer, assistant provost and director of the Center for Teaching and Learning, is a biologist by training and has been actively working with faculty members on teaching and learning since 1993. She is a member of the Core Committee (Board of Directors) of the Professional and Organizational Development (POD) Network in Higher Education, serves on the executive advisory board of the International Higher Education Teaching & Learning Association, and is a member of the editorial review board of Innovative Higher Education. She is also the editor of Blended Learning: Across the Disciplines, Across the Academy. Her areas of interest include encouraging active learning, use of student teams in the classroom, faculty mentoring, and online and blended learning.
Olena Zhadko, instructional designer, is an educational teaching and learning technology specialist. Her areas of interest include new teaching strategies, course design and redesign, pedagogically appropriate uses of technology, and transformation of curricula into online and blended courses.
Jea Ahn, an instructional designer, has been working on individual online courses, online programs, and faculty development programs for online teaching and learning. His areas of interest are cognitive load theory, multimedia learning, intelligence theories, assistive technology, and online and blended teaching and learning.
