Planning for Tenure and Promotion: Institutional Expectations  Time: 12:45 - 2:10 p.m.

At last week’s Provost/Faculty/AAUP meetings, there was a discussion about teaching, scholarship, and service, and a document was distributed that elaborates on the Provost’s responses to some of the questions that are asked frequently. The document, available at http://bit.ly/TPguidelines, is intended to be a general guideline for faculty members who are preparing for tenure.

How do you align what you do with NYIT’s priorities?
How do you present your accomplishments in your portfolio so that the value of what you do is evident?

This workshop will be an interactive, working session: bring your CV and Executive Summary.
