Our online Master of Science in Instructional Technology [MSIT] program brings you convenience and choice — you decide where and how you learn best!

NYIT's 36-credit, fully online Instructional Technology master's degree program was developed for truly innovative educators. For New York state-certified educators, the degree leads to certification as a K-12 Educational Technology Specialist. In addition, for educators initially certified in New York State, this program offers eligibility for professional certification in the initial certification area.

NYIT's School of Education is accredited by the National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE) accredited; the Master of Science in Instructional Technology is nationally recognized and registered with the New York State Department of Education as a fully online program.
