Primary responsibilities include
-Hands on computer instruction to students
-Training and supporting classroom teachers in the use of technology in the classroom
-Implementing a Technology Curriculum in alignment with Alternative Performance Indicators for NYS Learning Standards in Mathematics, Science and Technology
-Maintaining a software inventory

Hicksville School District is anticipating a fulltime probationary Technology position at Hicksville High School.

 Candidates should be proficient with the use of mechanical machine shop equipment such a band saw, lathe, drill press, and hand tools. In addition, perspective candidates should be versed in traditional drafting and computer aided drafting.  3D printing experience is also desirable. New Explorations Into Science, Technology and Math (NEST+m)

NEST+m (http://nestmk12.net/) needs a certified General Science teacher to teach 6th grade Project-Based Inquiry Science classes beginning fall of 2014.
