In the event of severe weather or a large-scale emergency, NYIT senior administration may decide to cancel classes, close the college, or delay the day’s opening. If this becomes necessary, students, faculty, and staff have several resources from which to receive more information:

If you have signed up for emergency text/voice messaging, you will receive an alert on your mobile device or phone, please sign up for emergency alert messaging (text and/or voice alerts). If you have any questions or problems signing up, please call the NYIT Service Central at 516.686.1400 (option 3).
