Energy Science, Technology & Policy Minor

Our partnership with the Long Island Alternative Energy Consortium gives you the opportunity to interact with other academic institutions, private industry, government laboratories, and legislative offices as you learn to apply “green skills” in your future career.

You can also broaden your professional experience with our sustainability resources, including NYIT’s: Entrepreneurship and Technology Innovation Center (ETIC), on-campus solar carports, and plug-in hybrid vehicles.

To add this minor:

  • Fill out and sign the application form.
  • Bring the signed copy to Department Chair Robert Amundsen, Harry Schure Hall, room 224A, or scan and email to ramundse@nyit.edu, for his review and signature.
  • Bring the completed form to the Office of the Registrar.
