Entrepreneurship and Technology Innovation Center (ETIC)
The Entrepreneurship and Technology Innovation Center (ETIC) has served as New York Tech's hub for cultivating new businesses, products, and fresh ideas in technology, engineering, and applied sciences since 2015.
Mission
The ETIC's mission is to:
- consolidate and expand the college's industry-academic partnerships,
- foster innovation, and
- promote collaborations among industry, the academic community, professional organizations, and government.
As a source of talent, entrepreneurship, and innovation, the ETIC accelerates the regional economy and ensures greater competitiveness for Long Island and the broader metropolitan region. It supports the region's economic development by focusing on three critical areas: IT and cybersecurity, bioengineering and medical devices, energy and green technologies. With 8,000 square feet of state-of-the-art labs and facilities, the ETIC is dedicated to supporting our partner companies and offering them access to funding through our robust investor networks, helping our students become transformative leaders in the field, and spurring the regional community to develop excitement about scientific advances.
