This year's commencement takes place on May 21, 2017. Each graduate who has been approved to graduate by the Office of the Registrar will be able to order their commencement tickets online. If you did not file with the registrar, you cannot get tickets. Please see Filing for Graduation for further details.
Admission to commencement is by ticket only. A ticket grants access to the commencement ceremony and the individual school events. Due to limited seating, each graduating student receives a maximum of four guest tickets. All guests require a ticket, including children. Tickets must be presented to gain admittance. The graduating student does not require a ticket. Additional tickets are not available.
Having a ticket does not guarantee a seat. Seating in the main tent is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Once seating in the main tent is filled, all ticketed guests will be directed to school tents for viewing.
Each graduate must pick up his or her tickets in person, present photo identification, and sign a release that tickets were received.
