Biography
Lynn Rogoff conducts courses on screenwriting, writing for the mass media, and using social media for business. She previously taught at St. Johns University, University of California, Los Angeles, St. Francis College, and Yeshiva University.
She won an Emmy award for outstanding documentary in 1981, for the film No Maps on my Taps, where she was the performance director, writer, and associate producer. She also wrote and produced a documentary on the famous Native American Sacajawea.
In addition to being a theater director and playwright, Rogoff has experience as a network television producer and director for ABC-TV Weekend Specials, Sesame Street Israel, and other shows. She has also designed and written content for websites and games for a variety of clients including St. John’s University, GreenKids Media, AmeriKids, and Stage Door Deli.
Rogoff received certification in distance learning from St. Johns University, and completed post graduate professional studies in interactive design, writing, and business realities from the University of California, Los Angeles. She received her master’s degree in directing and bachelor’s degree in English literature and teaching from New York University.
