SPEND YOUR SUMMER IN FRANCE!

NYIT will offer programs in the following French cities for summer 2015:

  • Lyon, for science and engineering students
  • Paris, for students interested in communication arts

Each program lasts five weeks, and students can earn up to six NYIT credits. See details below.

Institut Polytechnique Lyon

International Summer School in Science and Engineering

Monday, June 8 – Friday, July 10, 2015
Apply by Friday, May 1, 2015.

Earn six NYIT credits and learn French!

Courses:

  • Energy Conversion (EENG 301) - taught in English
  • French (FREN 101) - beginner to advanced levels available

The program costs $6,300 (the same as six New York NYIT undergraduate credits) plus HTH Worldwide Insurance (estimated: $75).
The following is included:

  • Full tuition (six credits)
  • Accommodations for five weeks in a single room in a residence hall
  • Excursions and industrial and cultural visits, including a few group meals
  • Roundtrip airfare (up to $1,200)

The cost of meals and local transportation are not included. (Students will have access to dining halls/meal plans.)

Federal financial aid and NYIT Global Exchange Scholarships are available to qualified students!
Eligibility:

  • Students must be in good academic standing.
  • Students must have successfully completed at least one modern physics course.

Summer Program in Paris (Communication Arts)

Monday, June 1 – Friday, July 3, 2015
Apply by Friday, April 24, 2015.
Earn six NYIT credits.

Courses (taught in English):

  • Integrated Marketing Communication (COMM 350)
  • Producing a Documentary in Paris (COMM 350)

The program costs $7,500 and includes the following:

  • Tuition ($6,300 for 6 NYIT credits)
  • Housing in a student residence conveniently located in central Paris
  • Shuttle from & to airport
  • Paris Metro card, site visits and cultural activities

Airfare and meals are not included.

EFAP’s campus is situated right off the world-famous Champs-Elysées.
