Exploring Architecture in Manhattan

This summer program takes place in design studios overlooking Central Park and Columbus Circle, in the heart of one of the world's most famous urban environments.

A series of morning workshops, reading seminars, guest lectures, walking tours, office visits, and exhibitions visits introduces students to design practice, theory, and history.

Afternoon sessions offer an intensive introduction to the fundamentals of design. This studio challenges students with abstract design problems while also building skills in architectural drawing, modeling, and presentation. The program culminates with a portfolio workshop that prepares students for future study in architecture.
