New York Institute of Technology Presents: Health & Medical Academy

NYIT faculty in the School of Health Professions and the College of Osteopathic Medicine presents the Health and Medical Academy for high school students interested in pursuing a career in the medical fields. This two week academy will expose students to programs in Nursing, Clinical Nutrition, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, Physician Assistant Studies and Osteopathic Medicine.  Students will participate in lecture and hands-on laboratory sessions in our state-of-the- art facilities. Included are tours of the anatomy lab, simulation lab and biomechanics lab. Students will also receive CPR training.

Dates: July 6 - July 17 (M-F)
Time: 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.

Cost: $500
Maximum Enrollment: 30 students

All supplies and materials, CPR certificates, and a Health and Medical Academy tee shirt are included in the cost. Afternoon snack will also be provided. Lunch is available for purchase on campus at Riland Café. Registration and payment due by Friday, June 19, 2015.
