Jaishel Linch Bennett, President of XAE

My name is Jaishel Linch Bennett, and I am majoring in Behavioral Science/Social Work. I will proudly serve as the President of Chi Alpha Epsilon National Honor Society at NYIT. I will be committed to working with different individuals to achieve personal growth and academic excellence. Being able to impact others will not only help me achieve what I want most in life, but it will allow me to work with individuals who have a similar purpose. I look forward to planning different community service activities with the members of Chi Alpha Epsilon.
   
   
Lakisha Scott, Vice President of XAE

Lakisha Scott is a junior majoring in Behavioral Science with a focus in Social Work. She is a very active student leader at NYIT. As Vice President of XAE, Lakisha will work hand and hand with the president, striving to achieve the goals of XAE. Lakisha is also responsible for assisting the president in any way necessary to improve XAE as a whole. Lakisha serves as a Senior Orientation Leader and First Year Mentor for the class of 2016. She understands how important it is that students succeed in their academic performance. In her freshman year at NYIT, she was inducted into Phi Eta Sigma National Honor Society. Lakisha understands the positive influence an honor society can have on a student. Lakisha looks forward to this wonderful opportunity.
   
   
Arafat Sadia, Secretary of XAE

As Secretary of XAE, Sadia is responsible for the recording, organization, and maintenance of all XAE correspondence and information. Sadia is in her fourth year as a Life Science/Biology major. She aspires to go to medical school and become a physician. Sadia volunteers at Queens Hospital in the psychiatric department. She also serves as the President of Phi Eta Sigma, National Honor Society and is an active member of the American Medical Student Association and Muslim Student Association at NYIT.
   
   
Nusrat Lima, Treasurer of XAE

Nusrat Lima is in her fourth year as an Electrical and Computer Engineering student. As XAE’s Treasurer, Lima is responsible for keeping track of all money, receipts, and financial transactions, as well as helping with the development of fundraising events. Lima also serves as a HEOP peer mentor.
   
   
Chaimae Benali, Events and Fundraising Chair of XAE

Chaimae's primary responsibilities as the Events and Fundraising Chair for XAE include planning, coordinating, and facilitating XAE events and fundraising initiatives. She is currently in her third year at NYIT and is majoring in Life Science/Biology. Chaimae also serves as a mentor to first year HEOP students and holds a Senator position in Students Working to Achieve Greatness (SWAG) club.
