Simulated Trading Floor

Equipped with the latest technologies, including hardware, software, databases and datafeeds, the School of Management Simulated Trading Floor strengthens the school's educational platforms through its support for those technologies that ensure that our graduates and corporate partners achieve technological competencies necessary to succeed in the contemporary workplace. Featured in the trading floor are the school's Bloomberg terminals, used by investment professionals around the world. The Bloomberg system enables financial professionals to monitor and analyze real-time financial market data movements and place trades, and includes current and historical financial quotes, commodity market and economic statistics, business newswires, and descriptive information, research, and statistics on over 52,000 companies worldwide. Most large financial firms have subscriptions to the Bloomberg service. The Trading Floor also supports Crystal Ball, CRSP, CompuStat, E-Views, Oracle, SPSS, WhatsBEST, and numerous other decision support tools to ensure that our students and professionals have the training and preparation to assist their organizations in the decision-making processes.
 
Overseen by the School of Management Center for Risk Management, the Trading Floor, located on the fifth floor of 26W. 61st Street (Manhattan) is used for the purpose of adding value to the portfolio of skills for all participants, including students, community stakeholders, and practicing professionals. Through its wide array of professional programs, including summer boot camp opportunities for high school students, professional certification training courses, corporate training platforms, the Center have the right customized services to ensure your success! Small Business Incubator

The School of Business Small Business is designed to assist in the development of early-stage business ventures. The incubation process supports its participants through the utilization of faculty, staffs, and executives or entrepreneurs in residence to provide the guidance and consulting necessary to make sure your start-up or expanding business has the right tools necessary to succeed. The Incubator experience has been designed to:

  • Foster the formation and development of start-up businesses to the point of obtaining significant, third-party investment support;
  • Educate participants about the process of new venture development to improve their potential for future entrepreneurial success; and
  • Create an entrepreneurial community to give students the experience of learning through mutual support, a process critical for successful entrepreneurship.

The Incubator, located on the fourth floor of 26W. 61st street (Manhattan) is overseen by the School of Management's Center for Entrepreneurial Studies. Interested students who have innovative ideas and are entrepreneurial are encouraged to engage into the Center's activities and can learn more about these exacting opportunities by contacting:
