VITA Program
The VITA Program (Volunteer Income Tax Assistance) at NYIT offers free tax help to students, staff and faculty who would like assistance with preparing their own tax returns. Student volunteers receive training to help prepare basic tax returns. This program is hands-on and students who have taken advanced accounting courses, including taxation, should participate.
If you are interested in joining the VITA Program, please register online and attend the information session on October 26, 2011 at 6PM in room 708 in the Main Building Manhattan campus or DL4 in Harry Schure Hall in Old Westbury campus.
