The School of Management believes in responsibility and accountability for its students.
The school also believes that meritorious performance and achievements that derive from this responsibility must be recognized, acknowledged, and rewarded. In that sense the school supports various chapters of honor societies. In this way the the school recognizes the achievements of its students, not only academically, but also for contributions made in community service, civic responsibility, peer leadership, and other ways. In addition to honor societies, the school also holds an annual Honors Gala in celebration of student success.
Active membership in an honor society will typically earn one SA point. Membership must be documented with a written testimonial of the honor society itself, or the faculty or staff liaison or director.
Active membership in an honor society outside of the School of Management will typically earn an SA point provided that written documentation is received from a faculty or staff liaison/director validating meaningful club/association engagement.
