Student Ambassador Program

The prestigious Student Ambassador Program engages School of Management students in meaningful service and citizenship while enhancing their leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Student ambassadors strive to improve the quality of the School of Management through professionalism and dedicated service. As public relations advocates and representatives of the School of Management, their responsibilities include assisting with campus & community events; welcoming new students, honored and distinguished guests; assisting the dean in research that advances the mission of the school, supporting social media platforms, and participating in marketing and fund raising events.

Program Benefits:

  • Engage in meaningful service and citizenship & acquire civic skills;
  • Serve as official representatives of the School of Management;
  • Gain employment experience and build your resume;
  • Recognition with a gold rope at commencement in honor of their service; and
  • Have their biographcial sketch prominently displayed in the School of Management and on the website; and

Eligible students:

  • May be undergraduate or graduate students but must have completed a minimum of one semester (or fifteen credit hours) in the School of Management at NYIT;
  • Must have a minimum grade point average of 3.5.
