TheBizDen 2012 Business Summit (April 4): Entrepreneurship, Business Leadership, Technology and More
The School of Management, along with TheBizDen, are hosting the first ever TheBizDen 2012 Business Summit for over 250 students and entrepreneurs at the Auditorium on Broadway. That’s right, join us on April 4, from 5:30 pm to 8:00 pm, for an evening of discussions, networking and fun as we celebrate entrepreneurship and sound business leadership right here in New York City!
From 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm will be a panel discussion with 5 top entrepreneurs from the area talking about the future of entrepreneurship, leadership, technology and more. What is the future of business as we know it? What will it take to build your own company, or scale your current venture, in such an ecosystem? Join the discussion to find out!
TheBizDen Business Summit's panel of speakers include Peter Shankman, Samantha Smith, Michael Yavonditte, Stephen Messer and Tom "TK" Kuegler.
Some of the most well known organizations and entrepreneurs are supporting out student run initiative at TheBizDen. With so much excitement, talent and passion, this event is sure to be both fun and insightful for anyone looking to build the next big thing! MassChallenge.org Comes to NYIT School of Management!
MassChallenge.org, a not-for-profit organization dedicated towards helping budding entrepreneurs find the right resources and financial support, will be speaking on February 23rd from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm. As the world's largest startup competition and accelerator program, finding the right mentor network and resources has never been easier. If you are interested in startups, entrepreneurship and venture capital, this event is for you! The speaking session will take place at the 11th Floor Auditorium, conveniently located at 16 W. 61St, and is made possible by TheBizDen. Please RSVP here.

TheBizDen Launches First Show Nov. 15 with an Amazing Entrepreneur from Finland!
Calling all students! Do you have a burning question you want to ask an entrepreneur about startups and business? Perhaps you have a business idea but need some advice, tips or a second opinion. Wait no more! Oliver Bremer, Co-Founder of Founder2be, is coming to the Manhattan campus next Tuesday, November 15, 2011! Email us your questions at: .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address) along with your first name and major to have your question considered for the Q and A session of the show. Although the show isn’t open yet to “in person appearances” by students at the moment, we do plan on inviting students to come onto the show in the near future.
TheBizDen is located on the Upper West Side (inside the small business incubator and Center for Entrepreneurial Studies) at NYIT. We will be podcasting the show within the week for your convenience. Remember, just biz talks, that’s all!
