Making the choice to attend college is a difficult one. The School of Management understands this and offers two year degree programs for high school graduates or adult learners who are interested in exploring the contemporary and evolving college life or perhaps returning to college to retool their basic skills. The emphasis of exposure to learning goals in the Associate of Applied Science degree program (AAS) is focused on knowledge acquisition, understanding with context, and application to practice. This is towards building skill sets that enable graduates of the two year degree to either continue their academic progress by pursuing a four year degree, or for non-traditional learners, advance their professional goals in the business world.
Admission standards and other academic policies for the Associate of Applied Sciences degree program are in keeping with those of NYIT and require nothing in addition to those. Graduates of the program wishing to transition into one of the school's four-year undergraduate programs must comply with relevant academic policies for the program they wish to enter.
The School of Management currently offers the Associate of Applied Science degrees in Business Administration, including options in accounting, finance, management or marketing.
