Mathematics Resource Center

Math CenterWe provide free help with all math courses, including placement assistance, exam preparation, and background information. Our teachers are experienced, caring, and anxious to meet you. We know math can be very anxiety-producing; we are set up to deal with that anxiety and help you get the most out of your math class.

We see students by appointment (preferred) or drop-in. Feel free to stop by during the first few weeks of the semester to fill out a card and set up your weekly appointment.

  1. Please feel free to sit down and study.
  2. If questions arise as you study, feel free to request assistance from an instructor.
  3. Please feel free to use the center computers or any of our textbooks.
  4. Please feel free to come in for walk-in help. Instructors are here to help.
  5. If you have an appointment, please come in and alert your tutor. Students with appointments are given priority.
  6. If an instructor is tutoring, please come in and wait. If an instructor has an appointment with you, he/she will be with you in a short time.
  7. All instructors, tutors, and professors are here to help you. We will do our best to clarify the relevant material and help you learn.
  8. DO NOT FEED THE PROFESSORS! (Well... you can bring us coffee...)
